Inner Voices

How actually are attitudes and values concerning art changing in nations outside the Western world? “Inner Voices” will be a group exhibition devoted to women artists who are personally casting off the values and paradigms of conventional reality in their endeavor to create an alternative reality. The exhibition will listen to the creative expression or “inner voices” of those artists who, while appearing to focus on their individual lives, are in fact attempting—through experimentation and aggressive action—to transcend conservative perceptions of the divides and diversity they discover in their confrontation with reality.
