Ito Kiyonaga : A Retrospective

 This is the retrospective exhibition for Ito Kiyonaga (1911-2001), an oil painter who was born in Izushi Town (now Toyooka City), Hyogo. He was awarded the Order of Culture. He devoted himself to the pursuit of orthodox and academic representational paintings under the theme of nude women. The exhibition will trace his achievements along with his masterpieces, from early ones to those in his later life.
