Me, You and Everything Else

Originally the site of an airfield and aircraft production in the Second World War, the estate, which was first built in the early 60s, was completely redeveloped in the 1990s. For the project, young people from Castle Vale Performing Arts College and the Sanctuary Youth Centre worked with older participants from Castle Vale Community Housing Association sheltered housing to create their own view of the estate as they see it, of friends and family and of themselves.

This exhibition is in the Community Gallery at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. The nearest entrance to reach this exhibition is on Great Charles Street.

'Me, You and Everything Else' has been created by Geoff Broadway and Brendan Jackson working with Active Arts Castle Vale in partnership with: Castle Vale Community Housing Association; Castle Vale Community Regeneration Services; Community Environmental Trust; Castle Vale School.
