Second individual exhibition in Spain dedicated to Tacita Dean (Canterbury, 1965), whose latest audiovisual works are related to monasteries.

This British artist started out as a painter but soon switched to 16mm films. She uses filmic images for both narrative and documentary purposes, opting for spaces in which poetry and silence are the protagonists. She also makes use of drawing, photography and sound. In addition, Dean has published several books to complement her visual work. As a member of the “Young British Artists” group, Tacita Dean is regarded as one of the most promising young talents on the British art scene.
