Wannes Goetschalckx (Zoersel, °1978) often creates performative installations in which the limitations and possibilities of his body combined with objects play a role. He develops a specific, sometimes radical visual language which prompts reflection about our behaviour and place in the world. M will be showing a spatial video installation entitled 1 WITHOUT. In it the artist performs everyday actions, like walking, whistling, drinking and sleeping, sometimes combining them with a live element at set times.
