Profil
Since founding the gallery in Zurich in 1974, Jamileh Weber has continuously built up her gallery's worldwide reputation for its museum-quality exhibitions.
Her particular aim in contemporary architecture culminated in the early eighties in monographic exhibitions of architectural masters such as Aldo Rossi, Hans Hollein, or Fumihiko Maki, exhibitions that aroused considerable public attention.
Always in search of the 'sacred space,' she follows her main goal: celebrating art in perfect harmony with the architectural space. Over the years, she has collaborated with some of the most influential artists of the late twentieth century, such as Georg Baselitz , Rebecca Horn , Robert Rauschenberg , Sean Scully , Joel Shapiro, and Frank Stella, as well as a younger generation such as Xerxes Ach, Michael Biberstein, Silvia Ger tsch, Hanspeter Hofman n, Jahanguir , Alois Lichtsteiner , and Liliane Tomasko.
