| My work consist of a synthesis of experiences. I am not saying anything in particular, I just testify those experiences. They become images. Tensions between forms build a rhetoric more evocative than immediately meaningful. I feed my inspiration from chance meetings, wanderings, isolation in a natural landscape (during several weeks). These hikes constitute a sort of existentialist meditation. In my point of view, these journeys are performances. Pictures become testimonies and teachings. Then I settle down and build installations. This is my connection to the world. Withdrawal and seclusion are recurrent themes. I try to define the space between the spectator and the finishedwork. This connection is something that I often question. I consider books, sculptures, photographs as closed forms existing in a definied place. I evoke loneliness and nomadism. I seek a dialectic from the process and the object's reference. My research produces rituals, under the seal of ambivalence : between fetish and sculpture, diary and fiction, grotesque and holy. Those images translate anxieties. They can connect and work on the subconsciuous self. Contrary to fairy tales, there's no ending, but an extension of doubts, like falling without hitting the bottom. The Uncanny concept, being lived or dreamt, becomes a fertile land for these thoughts. My ambition is to create tools that could constently question and redefine themselves. In a nutshell, I would like to create an active conscience where everything is connected and is in constant evolution. A world made up of countless constellations.
