| Already at the beginning of her career was Andrea Fraser at the Venice Biennale and had since been in numerous solo and group exhibitions in American and European museums represented. She was known at the beginning of the 90s with their "gallery talks, performances in the form of guided tours of art institutions in which they critically reflect on the forms of presentation, the hierarchies and the exclusion mechanisms of the art grips. Even in the subsequent analysis they work - in sometimes very humorous ways - the structure of museums, galleries and other exhibition halls. She is regarded as one of the most successful artists critical institutional and important representative of an art direction, now under the label contextual art plays an important role in contemporary art discourse plays. Andrea Fraser diversified work includes topics such as cultural transfer, sponsorship and the importance of the media in reporting on arts events.
