| The starting point of the exhibition are two works: An updated version of Muntadas' multimedia installation stage XII. Homage To The Audience (1989 - 2006) and the project On Translation: The Collection (2006), which works by artists such as John Cage, Dieter Roth or Francisco de Goya presents an unusual way. Muntadas examines the conditions that regulate our perception ans our behavior to culture: popular culture on the one hand and high culture on the other side. That is, the stadium and the museum are equally under the aspect of "protocols" which they spawn, considering. As content as spatial link between "On Translation: The Collection" and "stage" Muntadas developed a third space, which is the broad effect of power and range of protocols dedicated. The here presented documentary material is both the linguistic definitions as well as the visual representations of protocols - at different times and in different places - after. Moreover, Muntadas a number of existing works, under the aspect of the protocol re-read.
