Bill Viola is one of the most renowned video artists of our time. As a pioneer of media art has Viola's video installations created by the moving image itself and to explore together with art, perceptual psychology and spiritual issues. Bill Viola studied at the beginning of the 70s at the University of Syracuse in New York. From his experiments with electronic media art works created sound and video installations.
