| The irony of the emptying of contents in the contemporary consumer and information society is a constant component in the work of the New York artist Christian Holstad (* 1972 in Anaheim, California). Frequently recur in his works of the high quotations, pop and subculture to which he combines, in various contexts are transferred and seemingly absurd. Medial border of expression knows its not. Besides performances, drawings and collages, he, as a trained sculptor and ceramist, installations and sculptures.
