| In his work combines Jonathan Monk in a very personal kind of wit and irony with clear references back to the main currents of art in the 20th Century. In particular, the conceptual and minimal art of the'60s and'70s have become an essential reference for Monks own artistic creations. But now he shall have become canonical works with its claim to objectivity and the autonomy of the aesthetic object, a very personal analysis, the strict standards of the then art is a subjective interpretive touch. For the Twodo Collection of Jonathan Monk NAK has a 24-piece puzzle designed to be the artist in the format 2,20 x 2,95 m from rolled sheet steel was produced.
