Lovis Corinth (July 21, 1858 in Tapiau, East Prussia † July 17, 1925, Zandvoort, Netherlands; actually Franz Heinrich Louis Corinth) was a German painter. In addition to Max Liebermann, Lesser Ury and Max Slevogt he is one of the most important and influential representatives of German impressionism.
