Markus Wanger - Profile

Dr. Markus Wanger was born in Vaduz/ Liechtenstein in 1955. Being also a professional lawyer - specialized among others in the Art Law-, he also works as a professional painter and occasional lecturer teaching art students his 3-D- Structuralism. Over the years, Wanger has moved away from figurative painting towards a more abstract kind of art. A few years ago he found his worldwide singular technique of the 3-D-Structuralism which he had patented. This is a combination of a relief and some pouring- technique, the result of which is a spatial effect within a special color composition and which at the same time is independent of the layers below. The color theory of Goethe plays an important role in his works. Markus Wanger can look back on many years of experiences as artist and exhibitor. His works were shown in the USA, China, many European cities and at art fairs. Also he taught his new technique in many workshops and lectures. (Galerie Artodrome )
