| The art of the person of the artist seems to be separated for Pawel Althamer impossible. Althamer was in 1967 in Warsaw (Poland), where he now lives and works. In his sculptures, video works, he is always so itself; The sculptures made of wax and hair are not beschönigt. It is rather a kind of realism. Doubt, anxiety, age, become visible.
