| In a comprehensive solo exhibition presents the Secession films and photographs of the American artist Sharon Lockhart, one of the main representatives of the younger conceptual photography and the neo-structuralist film counts. In formally precise work consists Lockhart with social communities, social codes and the identity of groups apart. References to the American social documentary photography and the structuralist films of the 1960s and 1970s, reflected in films and photographic series, such as TEATRO AMAZONAS, and PINE FLAT LUNCH BREAK Lockhart as well as conflicting interest in anthropological and ethnographic methods. Their work usually based on intensive research and personal encounter with Lockhart by it portrayed people and groups. Especially for their exhibition at the Secession, the artist designed the new film and photographic installation LUNCH BREAK. The example of a shipyard in the U.S. state of Main Lockhart directs the gaze to a socio-cultural aspect of the work, by the restructuring and efficiency gains in global capitalism is disappearing: The lunch break from working as part of social interaction. LUNCH BREAK addition will include a number of previous works presented in the broader sense, the issue of work focus.
