| Sylvie Fleury, born in 1961 in Geneva, plows with their objects, installations and wall works the broad field of luxury and consumer culture, particularly from the perspective of the consumer. Fleury's art is considered to be appropriation art: she embraces existing products in the world influencable goods with the aim of ironic exaggeration of this beautiful world of illusion. Her work can also be interpreted as a feminist position, even if such a position never to political expression would be. Sylvie Fleury operates autonomously, without their own studio and is regarded as self-taught. In the early 1990s, she conquered the international art scene, which they consider to be assistant to John M. Armleder had entered. Since their art appreciation experiences, it seems, is the art of world consumption has become a little bit similar. Fleurys later work, however, tend increasingly to the esoteric and out of New Age thought. They are much more colorful and indulge in a less tangible but more meaningful aesthetic. In fact, you could argue, is a sense of meaning and perspective in such a supercharged the logical development of a world of commodities, which are no longer being worked on a specific product, but in brand worlds their luck trying to find.
