| In his works, Sasnal extends different feelings, emotions and events which he has experienced. He lets these moments linger, to gives us an opportunity to focus on details, have a closer look at a car accident or a movie fragment he has seen on the TV. Though the fragment he extracts remains cold and dead, often enigmatic or vague, Sasnal has the ability to transform it into a multi-directional work, infusing it with meaning, a work which dwells upon a detail and eventually blows it up from the inside. Experience of the world in Sasnal's art works is absolutely clear and sincere and denied from a categorical ideological programme - alongside strongly political works (e.g. "A" - a video work in which children from a school in TarnĂłw group into a the shape of an anarchy sign) there also appears signs of the aesthetic fascinations of the artist (a series of paintings showing musical album covers). Sasnal is deeply rooted in a context of his generation and young people (not only in Poland) may strongly identify themselves with personal stories of the artist. This was particularly well seen in the reception of his cartoon-book "Everyday life in Poland in 1999-2001", in which he tells about real events that happened in his life soon after the graduation - that include holidays, looking for a job, first exhibitions, his child.
