The Hanck collection is a showcase of the international art scene, with 1,800 drawings, prints, paintings, photographs and sculptures by nearly 400 artists, established names as well as spectacular newcomers. Not only does this publication demonstrate the development of contemporary movements, it also bears the hallmark of pastor Wolfgang Hanck, who began collecting contemporary art in 1988, seeking out works of art with both sensual and existential qualities.
