Profile

The expansion of the Hoevelaken head office in 1976 provided the starting point for the Bouwfonds art collection. An 'art acquisitions committee' was set up and shortly thereafter Greet Sickinghe-ten Holte (1978-1989) was employed as an external consultant. She was succeeded by Fenna Westerik-de Vries (1989-2002). At present, the 'art acquisitions committee' consists of the director of the Bouwfonds Art Foundation, Fons van Meijgaarden, head curator Sharon Oldenkotte-Vrolijk and external consultant Micky Piller.
