The gallery was founded in 1985 by Ruedi Tschudi and Elsbeth Bisig and is located in the town of Glarus, about 60 km south-east of Zurich.

Open only in Spring and Autumn by appointment.

In Summer and Winter exhibitions are held in Zuoz.
