Kewenig The gallery was founded in 1986 as Jule Kewenig Gallery in Frechen near Cologne. The focus of the gallery is to convey the contemporary art since the late 60s. Here, the gallery is devoted to an international artists such as Marcel Broodthaers, Imi Knoebel , Bertrand Lavier , Giulio Paolini , Lois Renner , Ulrich Rückriem and Niele Toroni , whose art is self-referentially with their own forms of presentation techniques, content and deals. Another large group of artists who are represented by the gallery, encircled in its art history, their content, their timing and how to deal with it. These include inter alia Christian Boltanski, Hanne Darboven , Jannis Kounellis , Hendrik Kraw, Ian Hamilton Finlay and Panamarenko, which reviewed progress and faith in them. In the new premises in February 2003 based in the city of Cologne this successful collaboration will continue with the artists.
