Visions for the Future

After the expansion of Brandts, the three institutions in the complex are still independent, but collaborate on the organizational level through a joint leadership group consisting of the director of Mediemuseet (The Media Museum), Ervin Nielsen; the director of Museet for Fotokunst (The Museum of Photo Art), Ingrid Fischer Jonge; and the director of Kunsthallen Brandts, Lars Grambye. 

With the completed expansion, Brandts has become a cultural institution of unique standing, not just in Denmark, but abroad as well. The vision for the future of Brandts as Denmark's international centre of photography, art and media is that of a cultural institution functioning on three levels: creating debate, breaking boundaries, and stimulating new developments.
