The Kunstverein Ulm promotes its exhibitions and many other activities, the contemporary art. It offers its members and all interested visitors always new and exciting insights into the current international art scene, enhanced by its work, the art scene in the city of Ulm and the region.

In our shows we were internationally known artists like Günther Uecker (pictured below), Jürgen Klauke, Arnulf Rainer, Annelies Štrba and Matthias Weischer, as well as young items to which we have devoted first solo exhibitions in Germany: Roza El Hassan, Katharina Bosse and Raissa Venables. Our historic exhibition hall presents an exciting challenge for the artists: many of them, as have Olaf Nicolai (pictured above), Daniele Buetti, Christof Zwiener and Laura Kikauka responded with specially developed for the space projects and installations. An exhibition in the year we dedicate the (graphic) of a classic work of modern art.

The Kunstverein Ulm was founded in 1887 by "ten Ulmer respected citizens", to "maintain the sense of art and the promotion of Fine Arts. Since 1973, he shows his exhibitions in the "shoe room house, one of the finest Renaissance rooms in southern Germany.
