Max Lang is a gallery specializing in the sale of important works of modern and contemporary art and design.  The gallery opened in February 2006 in the heart of Chelsea, New York City's gallery district.  Max Lang is situated in a freestanding, two-storey, 5,000 square foot building, renovated by Sam Trimble Designs, Inc.  The Gallery's 2500 square foot exhibition space creates an elegant, light-filled backdrop for the works on view.

Max Lang aims to explore the intersection of fine art and design and its relation to lifestyle. By presenting important artwork alongside modern design objects and furniture, the gallery program caters to a wide range of clients - from emerging collectors of fine art and design to the most discerning art collectors of our time. The gallery also educates through its special events program and well-informed, professional staff--thereby providing a welcoming, easily accessible environment for connoisseurship.
