In continuation of its long-standing involvement with the German art scene Galerie Mikael Andersen opened a gallery in Berlin in September 2007. Since its opening in Copenhagen in 1987 Galerie Mikael Andersen has collaborated with highly esteemed artists such as Martin Kippenberger, Isa Genzken, Albert Oehlen, Gunther Förg and Cosima von Bonin. Inspired by this active and dynamic dialogue with representatives of the German art world Galerie Mikael Andersen have increased its activities and expanded with this new exhibition space in Berlin.
