The MUSEUM RITTER was designed by the Berlin architectural office Max Dudler and is located directly next to the Ritter Sport chocolate factory. Areolar facades in light, warmly toned limestone and large windows lend the architecture a quiet, monolithic character. A generous passage that expands toward the Aichtal leads to the entrance of both wings and connects them. Oriented to the future, the construction technology of the new building, which utilizes the natural resources of solar energy and groundwater cooling, creates the best environmental balance possible. 

The main surface of the 44 x 44 meter construction echoes the square, which is one of the chocolate manufacturer's signatures. The entire surface of around 4,450 square meters is divided into two wings. With an exhibition space of approx. 700 square meters, the larger wing is dedicated to the Marli Hoppe-Ritter Collection and special exhibitions. It also contains a cafe and a museum shop with exclusive offers. The smaller wing will take the existing visitor center of the Ritter company, the popular Chocolate Shop, the Chocolate Exhibition and the Chocolate Workshop for children.
