gallery portrait: Dina4 Projekte, Munich

The necessary tools for a successful gallery owner she has learned at a profound connoisseur of the art world, namely at Barbara Gross, which implements several decades with great energy and commitment to an ambitious program in her Munich gallery. Dina Renninger may still not have the big names of her teacher, but a wide range of promising young artists. How few of their colleagues, she looks carefully the "tours" of German art academies in the search for young talent, which are later found often in the artist list by DINA4 projects again. In a small project room in the backyard of the building in the Theresienstrasse she gves many of these talents a first opportunity to present their work in a gallery. 

The program of the gallery sets a clear focus on the medium "drawing", what Dina Renninger underscored recently by the projekt "drawing lab” with the Berlin gallery Frühsorge. She is present on almost all major trade fairs, not at the main fair like Art Basel, but on the Volta. With the Japanese artist Moto Dobashi, she even participated at last year's Art Forum in Berlin.
