<p><p>At a time when painting the dead is said Albert Oehlen invents this constantly, shaping them, simultaneously playful and always in opposition to hierarchies and values. His, as he himself says, &quot;post-non&quot; painting, based on an ongoing confrontation with the history of painting. Since the end of the 90s is Albert Oehlen with the color &quot;gray&quot; apart. The represented objects or (parts of) a person disappear as behind a curtain of gray-scale monochrome. Blurred, the character in &quot;Forgetting on wheels&quot; in the image center, a balance between abstract and objectified representation. In stark contrast, seem to be the other works in this exhibition are: color on a white background. The screens are equipped with large, colorful, expressive and abstract brush strokes, with neon colors graffiti strokes from the spray, but also with fine, dunkelnden outline drawings of objects or shapes filled.
