| Childlike beautiful illusion, a fairy tale, but in its glossy smoothness sometimes repellent, such as a toy that you can not get, are the works of Jeff Koons. The artist was in 1955 in York (USA) born, lives and works today in New York (USA). With his art he wants to give the human desire for simplicity, beauty and banality meet. Against the accusation that his art is cheesy, he refuses, however, vehemently. Himself in the tradition of the art of the 18th Seeing century, his paintings and sculptures playfully in bright candy colors, shimmering and shining. Koons developed his art in a small company: it designs the computer itself, the ideas, his staff put them in the workshops into practice. He oversees the design, but it is not necessarily directly involved. This "process" of his art connects him with the artists of the Pop Art as Andy Warhol. As well as the proximity of its motives, which sometimes idealized the illusory world of advertising in our transfer to appear. And yet, he is less critical of his work, his art is his pleasure and games. Through its boundless optimism, the people feel better. Often, however, accused him, his beautiful, banal slip unterfordere the viewer.
