(Profile only availible in german - translated by machine) After series of drawings of the German Bundestag, the Romanesque churches in Cologne, the Kunstmuseum Bonn, the Von der Heydt Museum, Wuppertal and the Museum of Contemporary Art SMAK Ghent is characterized by the artist Matthias Beckmann (1965) for the exhibition in the Kunstverein Bochum in the various historical collections of the house Kemnade. The strictly linear drawings are entirely without photographic aids on site. The sober exhibition title refers to the used pencil with a line width of 0.5 mm and the hardness of 2B. Like the previous projects is also Beckmann Bochum drawing series but not a neutral documentary shows a unique view of the town. The designer is working as a cameraman.
