Ryan Gander, an international representative of the promising young British art scene, is the importance of search processes and making the center of his work. Against hasty certainties, the artist on the linkage of different art genres and media as well as the mysterious story of stories and the presentation enigmatic situations. The exhibition provides the basis of 10 works from the last few years, first in Austria, a representative insight into the work Ganders. In the shown room installations, videos, photo and text works, real and fictitious mixed to reveal the ambiguity of social reality and explore. Especially in the denial of coherent messages are Ganders work offers and questions as to the viewers themselves associatively to work. Unbetretbare unseizable spaces and characters, of which, however anspielungsreiche visible traces are recurring motifs, which irritate and at the same time, attempts to explain motivation. The artist deliberately traces to the viewer in a position to make their own stories and conjecture based on the Vorfindbaren imagining. "Nathaniel Knows" can also be a variation of a single, displayable area never exhaustive or braid relation of inner and outer world of knowledge and understanding of ancestors, whose interface is the viewer.
