Marina Abramovic: Vinyl-Edition for 360 €

Works of  Marina Abramovic, perhaps the most important performance artist forever, appear extremly seldon in the art market. Only about 100 pieces have been sold at auction, at prices between 20.000 to 300.000 Euros for unique works.  Valuable prints and multiples are even more rare. "Vinyl", a limited edition of Serpentine Galleries, therefore looks like a perfect start for young collectors. It is the result of a collaboration between The Vinyl Factory with the Serpentine Gallery and Marina Abramović. The vinyl features a recording of Abramović performing her "An Artist's Life Manifesto",  recorded at the Serpentine Galleries on the eve of her exhibition "512 Hours" and costs 275 Pound Sterling or 360 Euro plus VAT.  Order.

Guggenheim Announces Short List for the Hugo Boss Prize 2016

Camille Henrot was born in Paris in 1978 and is based in New York. Henrot was awarded the prestigious Silver Lion at the 55th Biennale di Venezia in 2013 and garnered the Kunststiftung NRW’s Nam June Paik Award in November 2014. The Guardian ranks “The Pale Fox” among the ten best art shows of the year 2014.
By Art-Report she has been selected for the "Young Artist of the Year 2014" - after Alicia Kwade (2012) and Jorinde Voigt (2013).  Therefore she has been the "Tipp of the Month" in October, 2014. The edition of Chisendal Gallery, London was quickly sold out. Now the Jahresgabe des Westfälischen Kunstvereins offers a second chance.

Fiac Los Angeles

On the heels of a very successful 41st edition of FIAC in Paris, marked by exceptional sales and record attendance, Reed Expositions today announced new timing for the inauguration of FIAC LA.
In order to satisfy the requirement level of the galleries, FIAC has listened to the recommendations of its participants to modify the launch of its Los Angeles endeavor to provide both organizers and galleries sufficient time for optimal preparation. The first edition of FIAC LA will now take place at the beginning of 2016.

The 56th International Art Exhibition titled All the World’s Futures, curated by Okwui Enwezor and organized by la Biennale di Venezia chaired by Paolo Baratta, will be open to the public from Saturday, May 9th to Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 at the Giardini della Biennale and at the Arsenale.
The preview will be held on May 6th, 7th and 8th. The awards ceremony and the inauguration will take place on Saturday May 9th, 2015.
